The new MakerBot Replicator+, already the sixth generation of 3D printers of the company, has been designed and tested for high reliability and fast printing. But also in the area of the number of useful adjustment possibilities and ease-of-use no corners have been cut.
The Replicator+ is a machine that can be used quickly and directly out of the box thanks to its user-friendliness. And through the included software and MakeBots' own Thingiverse-website including an extensive 3D model collection, there are always a lot of nice objects available that can be printed.
The MakerBot Replicator+ prints 30% faster than his predecessor and has a 25% larger build volume. With a minimal resolution/layer thickness of 100 micron the new Replicator is not the absolute top in the market, but complex pieces do come out detailed and are directly usable from the device, which is still cheaper than many other 'professional' 3D printers.
To guarantee easy 3D printing, the MarketBot Replicator+ comes with the new Smart Extruder+. On the replaceable printhead you get six months warranty and based on conducted 160.000 hour tests, you can expect high reliability and consistent, beautiful results.
Additionally to that the Replicator of course has many of the same features that its predecessor also already had. Think here of the large and bright LCD screen in combination with an intuitive rotary knob for among others the set-up, maintenance, previews of your files and access to your object library. And of course the machine is also outfitted with USB, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity.
With the new 'Grip Surface' printbed, prints attach better and that leads to less warping and deformation. Printed objects are also easier to remove, because the printbed is now flexible; an important improvement to the previous glass model, that still required taping.
The printbed is from the factory already leveled, so that you can begin working with the Replicator+ immediately.
You can now monitor the progress of your prints remotely through the inbuilt camera within the MakerBot software and MakerBot Mobile. Based on this you can directly intervene should something unexpectedly go wrong and you don't need to constantly sit next to the 3D printer to keep an eye on it.
