Disclosure Policy
We are a professional content site that receives compensation from the companies whose products you see in our content. We are independently owned and the opinions expressed here are our own.

Privacy
Anyone can visit our website without supplying personal data. However, in order to be able to provide the various services as offered on our website, we will have to record some data. Cookie data is only used for optimizing our expenses, displaying relevant ads and measuring the data through Google Analytics. To do this, we collect non-personal information about our online visitors, for example to be able to establish the total number of visitors of the website. For this, data such as visit length, the number of viewed pages, the type of Internet browser that was used and the OS is recorded.

Cookies
On this website we make use of cookies. A cookie is a simple small file that is transferred along with the pages of this website and stored onto your computer by your browser. The information that is stored in them (not personal details) can be sent back to our servers during a subsequent visit. There are two types of cookies:

  1. Session cookies - With the aid of a session cookie, we can see what parts of the website you have looked at with your visit. This allows us to adjust our service as much as possible based on the surfing habits of our visitors. These cookies are automatically removed when you close your web browser.
  2. Permanent cookies - With the aid of a permanent cookie we can recognise you during a new visit to our website. This allows for the website to be adjusted to your preferences. When you have given permission for placing cookies, we can also record this by means of a cookie. Because of this, you will not need to state your personal preferences again, allowing you to save time and make use of our website more conveniently. Permanent cookies can be removed through the settings in your browser.

Detailed information about enabling and disabling the acceptance of all sorts of cookies and optionally removing them, can be found in the instructions and/or with the help of the Help function of your web browser.

Google
One of the cookies that is placed through our website comes from the American-based Google, part of the company called Alphabet and is used for the Google Analytics - a service through which we receive reports about how visitors make use of our website. Google can transfer this information to third parties if Google is required by law to do so, or if third parties process information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not given permission for the Analytics information to be used for other Google services.

The information that Google collects is anonymized where possible. For example, your IP address is explicitly not included. The information is transferred to and stored on the Google Servers in the United States. Google claims to adhere to the Safe Harbor principles and is affiliated with the Safe Harbot program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

HERE you can read more on how Google uses data when you use sites or apps of their partners.

Facebook and Twitter
Our website has buttons in several places with which you can promote or share ('like', 'share', 'tweet') web pages on social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter. These buttons work by means of bits of code that stem from our networks and through this code, cookies are placed. We have no influence of this. Please refer to the privacy statement of Facebook and Twitter to be able to determine what they do with the (personal) data that they process through means of these cookies.

The information collected by Facebook, Twitter but also Google+ and LinkedIn is anonymized wherever possible and stored on servers in the United States. Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn claim to adhere to the Safe Harbor principles.
